Dustin went to the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies and then attended Florida International University College of Law where he focused his studies on trial advocacy, criminal law, and the First Amendment. He was on the FIU Trial Team (Finalist, Zehmer Mock Trial Competition; AAJ Mock Trial Competition, Phoenix, Regionals) and the Moot Court Team. He earned the Book Award in Evidence and multiple Dean’s List awards. He also interned with the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office where he assisted with numerous criminal trials. In 2008, Dustin traveled to Sevilla, Spain where he studied European Union law at Universidad de Sevilla, and in 2009 he was given the opportunity to go to Florence, Italy where he studied International Criminal Law and other international policies concerning “Social Justice.”
Before joining Romano Law Group, Dustin clerked at Broad and Cassel in West Palm Beach where he worked on class action lawsuits, commercial disputes, and mortgage foreclosure cases.
Dustin and his wife, Dana, were married in 2011. They live in Delray Beach, Florida.
