Parts of Florida to Reopen – What You Need to Know
Florida’s Governor, Rick DeSantis, announced on April 29, 2020 his plans to reopen the Sunshine State. In his Executive Order, DeSantis announced Phase 1 of his plan, which he has called “Safe. Smart. Step-by-Step. Plan for Florida’s Recovery.”
The statewide shelter-in-place order will be expiring, however, DeSantis urges Floridians to continue social distancing and refrain from being in groups larger than ten.

As of April 27, 2020 every state is currently using COVID-19 diagnostic testing. However, this does not necessarily equate to wide-scale availability of testing or scientifically proven accuracy of all types of testing.

Root cause analysis is “a systematic process for identifying ‘root causes’ of problems or events and an approach for responding to them.” (Washington State Department of Enterprise Services). Root cause analysis is an approach to prevent problems before they occur because said problems are either likely to occur or are reasonably foreseeable. Id.
